Larry Gray’s current responsibilities include marketing the V2500, PW2000 and PW4000 engines.  Recently, this role was expanded to include marketing the value of the engines and new service offerings to the cargo market, in response to the introduction of new passenger-to-freighter conversion programs.

His other responsibilities include assessing the value that P&W engines deliver to the aircraft operators and develop messaging to support marketing.

He also participates in the International Civil Aviation Organization’s Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) process by which environmental policy is formulated, evaluated and implemented.  Larry also participates in manufacturer associations that monitor and influence the development of solutions to environmental issues.

Larry joined Pratt & Whitney in 1984 and has held numerous positions in engineering, marketing and program management organizations. Larry started his career at P&W as an engineer, conducting airplane performance evaluations in support of JT8D and PW2000 engine programs.  Prior to joining the Marketing organization, he supported JT8D business development activities as part of the JT8D Program Management organization.

Larry holds a bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University and from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a masters degree in Business Administration and a M.S. in Engineering Science with a concentration in energy, environment and sustainable development.
