Hajiyev began his aviation career in 2011 at the Boeing company based in Seattle, WA. Over several years at Boeing, he held various roles, including Regional Director of Network/Fleet Planning, and Marketing Director for CIS, Central Asia and Ukraine.
Hajiyev holds an ACE (Advanced Certificate for Executives) in Management, Innovation and Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management (Boston, US), and a BA/MA honors degree in International Relations and Management from the University of St. Andrews (UK). Having come from the passenger sector, he aspires to bring a different perspective to Silk Way West by leading fleet development, analysis and research.
