Jens Steinhagen, Director of Boeing’s Freighter Conversions business, is defined by a lifelong aviation passion and career. His four decades of aerospace experience began as teenage glider pilot after which he joined the German Air Force as fighter pilot and officer with increasing leadership responsibilities. Holding degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management, Jens joined Boeing in 1999, where he held various management positions, leading Lean transformations, complex one-off modifications, freighter conversions and business development. Jens is thrilled to lead Boeing Converted Freighter programs in this exciting era of cargo growth.
