Jerome Cheung

Director of Airline Marketing at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited

Jerome currently holds the position of Director of Marketing at De Havilland Canada.  In this role, he oversees activities including commercial operations, product marketing, airline marketing as well as new product development. 

Jerome has 30 years of aircraft OEM experience.  He started as an airline analyst with Saab Aircraft International after graduating in aerospace engineering. 

Prior to joining De Havilland Canada in 2019, Jerome spent over 21 years at Bombardier Aerospace in various capacity within the sales and marketing organization.  Notably, he contributed to the success of the CRJ program by supporting the sales of hundreds of aircraft in the North America and Asia/Pacific markets.  He supported the launch of the C Series program by providing the market forecast for the initial business case.  Then, he was part of the execution in securing launch aircraft orders.  

Between 2013 and 2015, Jerome took on an oversea assignment for industrial collaboration with the Chinese aviation industry.  After his return to Canada, Jerome became the commercial strategy director at Bombardier until the acquisition of the Dash 8 program by the relaunched De Havilland Canada.   

At De Havilland Canada, Jerome finds his root back to the turboprop aircraft.  He is now focused on supporting all sales and aftermarket activities for a broad portfolio of Twin Otter, Dash 8 and DHC-515 firefighter aircraft.
