Jim Edgar has been associated with the air transportation industry for over 50 years. Both commercial and military experience in various passenger and cargo positions are included. Jim retired from Boeing after more than 30 years and was in his last position as Regional Director of Cargo Marketing for nearly 25 of those. In that capacity he was also on the Board of Directors of “The International Air Cargo Association” and Chair of its ‘Education & Research Committee. His Boeing responsibilities included the annual “Freighter Fleet Forecast” and as a contributor to the biennial “World Air Cargo Forecast.” Jim was also instrumental in bringing key customers together with Product Development and Strategy in defining and launching both the 747-8F and 777F. Jim enjoys spending off-hours guest lecturing on international business topics at colleges on the West Coast and in the Midwest, serving on the boards of several educational organizations and charitable institutions as well as continuing involvement with the industry as a ‘Senior Consultant’ with Cargo Facts Consulting.
